On every outing with Whales in the Wild we will be carrying out valuable research with
your assistance. This research will be part of our on going Whales in the Wild research
program. We will be recording new songs from the male Humpback whales and comparing them
with last season's songs, we will collect data on each and every sighting, GPS positions
will be recorded identification markings and fluke photos will be collected. At the end of
each season our research data will be passed onto our Vava'u Whale Watch Operators
Associations and then finally to the Tonga Government Fisheries Department for research
purposes with the hope that our research will guarantee the total protection of these
magnificent creatures for the future.
So come join us on a day with the Whales in the Wild. Book your whale watching trip.
